First cash inflows: shall I lend money to my business?

In order for my company to function, it will need money. After the first invoices, money will start coming from clients. But, in the beginning, the most likely source of money for the company will be myself or my associate shareholders, if any. And, most likely, this will be in the form of a loan from myself, as an associate shareholder, to the company.
